IATAM was founded on the simple premise that the marketplace for the services of its members is for all practical purposes, infinitely large when compared to the number of companies and people providing those aggression management services. Therefore we all benefit by working together to expand awareness of our services and of the benefits obtained by client organisations when they are able to manage aggression more effectively.

IATAM focuses on helping its members market their products and services to the world via offering the opportunity to purchase from our web design company links to the members' websites. We also host a database based web catalogue of members and services. IATAM will also organise conferences and meetings to allow the sharing of best practice between its members.

It is implicit in the founding of IATAM that all members will be treated equally and fairly and that NO member (whatever their relationship to IATAM) will be given preferential treatment.

Membership of IATAM is free of charge to suitable people, and includes your name and membership type being listed in our online directory. However, for enhanced listings, to have a webpage on this site or to access certain other additional services requires a payment to our web design, hosting and management services provider Winghigh Limited. The fees for their services are listed on their website and may be viewed by clicking here. Such services and fees (payable directly to Winghigh Limited) are completely optional.

Fellow - A fellow is a full voting member with all rights. A full member must earn their living or be substantially engaged on a time basis in the teaching of verbal, physical or psychological aggression management techniques. They are entitled to a full listing on the IATAM website, are able to attend all normal IATAM meetings and can use the designation FIATAM or IATAM(F).

Member – A member also has voting rights. They must teach verbal, physical or psychological aggression management techniques on a part time basis. They are entitled to a listing in the IATAM membership directory, are able to attend all normal IATAM meetings and can use the designation MIATAM or IATAM(M).

Associate – An associate will NOT have voting rights – They must have an interest in verbal, physical or psychological aggression management techniques. They are able to attend all normal IATAM meetings and can use the designation AIATAM or IATAM(A).

Student Member – A student member will not have voting rights. They must be studying verbal or physical aggression management techniques on a part time basis. They will be able to attend all normal IATAM meetings.
